Our cedar tubs are constructed from 2 x 6 clear heart vertical grain wood. The staves and the bottoms are 1 3/4" in thickness making them considerably stronger than most other tubs on the market. This thickness adds significantly to the life-span, and virtually eliminates any possibility of warping of the wood. This extra thickness give our tubs up to two times the insulating value of thinner tubs.
