OutBack Power Systems is proud to introduce their latest innovation: FLEX ware, the next evolution of balance-of-system components.
They listened to their integrating partners, installers in the field and system owners. They took their suggestions and improved our product, from knockouts and breaker locations to more shared parts for easier ordering and stocking.
FLEX ware is better integrated, modular, and more spacious than any of our previous metal hardware. Components are more versatile, there’s more space for wiring, and the all-aluminum, powder-coated construction is highly corrosion resistant for an installation that looks great even longer.
Installers can satisfy a large variety of applications by using FLEX ware with Outback's Modular power electronics . FLEX ware 250 offers a solution for AC and DC disconnects in single inverter/charger installations when space and budget are primary concerns. FLEX ware 500 supports up to two inverter/ chargers and two charge controllers in an attractive, versatile and code-compliant package when split-phase and/or higher power output is needed. FLEX ware 1000 accommodates up to four inverter/ chargers and four charge controllers. Both FLEX ware 500 and FLEX ware 1000 provide locations for auto-transformers, multiple DC shunts and other items required in high power applications.
FLEX ware 250 AC/DC System
The photo below shows the complete FLEX ware 250 Single Inverter AC/DC system containing the FW250 AC/DC enclosure mounted with a single FX series OutBack Inverter.
FLEX ware 500 AC/DC System
The photo below shows the complete FLEX ware 500 system mounted on the FLEX ware Mounting Plate . Shown in the photo are 1 FW500-AC Enclosure, 1 FW500-DC Enclosure, 2 of the OutBack Inverters and 2 OutBack MX60 MPPT Charge Controllers. What a perfect package for most installations. The complete FW500 system - Mounting plate, Enclosures both DC and AC and Inverters will take up a wall space of 41" width X 20.5" height X 13" depth. Not including the MX charge controllers shown below
FLEX ware 1000 AC/DC System
This photo below shows the complete FLEX ware 1000 system mounted on the FLEX ware Mounting Plate . Shown in the photo are 1 FW 1000-AC Enclosure, 1FW 1000-DC Enclosure, 4 of the OutBack Inverters and 4 OutBack MX60 MPPT Charge Controllers. What a clean package! The complete FW500 system - Mounting plate, Enclosures both DC and AC and Inverters will take up a wall space of 41" width X 41" height X 13" depth. NEW MidniteSolar E Panel
The feature that really made the E-Panel a viable product was the implementation of the unique hinged door. Not only does this feature allow easy access to the internal components of the panel, but it also makes mounting the inverter a one person job, unlike other systems on the market today. The inverter is mounted to the door while it is laying flat and then, as in the pictures below, you simply lift it up, insert tab "A" into slot "B" and you are done. It really doesn't get any better than that.
The E Panel also comes in a version to accommodate the Magnum Energy Inverters as well. Note the yet to be released Classic Charge Controller from MidniteSolar to the left of the top Inverter E Panel.
